If you ever get a group of NBA players together to sing classic holiday songs, you’d better keep your expectations pretty low — unless you are hoping for high comedy, of course.

Each year, teams love to make funny videos with players singing Christmas songs, but the Houston Rockets went a different route with their holiday jingle in 2013. Dwight Howard and the boys got together to do their best version of “The Dreidel Song” — it makes sense that the Rockets would choose a Jewish song considering Omri Casspi, a member of the Rockets, is the first ever Israeli-born NBA player (although he didn’t seem to know the words very well).

Check out the players showcasing their vocals here, via CSNHouston:

These type of videos are great because you can see each player’s different personality. You have guys like Chandler Parsons taking it seriously, Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones freestyle rapping, and then Aaron Brooks calling an audible and singing the Animaniacs theme song. It’s all great stuff.

Stay tuned for more Dwight Howard remixes — we’re hoping for more, at least.

The Arizona Wildcats have produced yet another cinematic gem ahead of this week’s rivalry game with the Arizona State Sun Devils. The annual matchup is known as “The Duel In The Desert” — naturally, it made sense to produce another Western-themed video to get the fans hyped. In it, one message was made loud and clear: the players fear no fork:

Arizona State has already clinched the Pac-12 South title, but this game is still about major pride. The Wildcats are coming off of a dominating win over Oregon, and want to keep the momentum from that game rolling. The game will air at 9:30 EST on Saturday, on the Pac-12 Network.

It’s finally here: Rivalry Week in college football has arrived. Perhaps the best slate of football games all season is on tap this week, so don’t plan on leaving your couch for a minute (you may not be able to anyway in a post-Thanksgiving food coma). There are bowl berths, conference championships, and lots of old-fashioned pride on the line in most of this week’s games — here’s who we are picking to win each:

While the 2013 Egg Bowl, the annual matchup between Ole Miss and Mississippi State, might not be quite as big a deal as its SEC brethren, the Iron Bowl, there is still a lot on the line. MSU needs a victory against the Rebels to become bowl eligible, and you can bet that the Ole Miss players would love to ruin the Bulldogs’ season. To spice up the matchup a little more, it appears that Mississippi State will be wearing gold chrome helmets. There is only one word for them – flashy.

Matt Wyatt of Head To Head Radio was the first to snap a pic.

They’ve certainly captured our attention. Bulldogs fans – what do you think of the new lids?

Ohio State fans have a few traditions regarding the Buckeyes’ rivalry against Michigan. One is the “Mirror Lake Jump”. Another is the removal of all “M’s” on campus. But the most important might be the refusal to actually utter the word “Michigan” – players, coaches and fans usually refer to the Wolverines as “That Team Up North.” Yesterday, head coach Urban Meyer accidentally slipped up and referred to his main rival by name. His wife is having a little fun with it today.

Kudos to Shelley Meyer for sticking to the script and removing all of the M’s from her tweet as well.

While I highly doubt that Meyer actually had his mouth washed out with soap, it’s great to see his wife taking the rivalry as seriously as the fans do. A victory this Saturday will probably excuse Urban from his faux pas.

Aaron Murray Lets Fans On Twitter Know That His ACL Surgery Went Well Today sexandsecretss.blogspot.com

sexandsecretss.blogspot.com ® Aaron Murray Lets Fans On Twitter Know That His ACL Surgery Went Well Today

Last week against the Kentucky Wildcats, Georgia lost its star quarterback for the rest of the season to a torn ACL. Aaron Murray later took to Twitter to thank fans for all of the support they have given him throughout his time at the university.

This morning he underwent surgery to repair the torn ACL, and he just reported that everything went well:

Of course, Murray won’t be able to help “wreck Tech” on the field this Saturday, but it’s great to hear that his surgery was a success.

The Georgia-Georgia Tech game for the “state championship” will air at 3:30 EST on Saturday, on ABC.

Did Jameis Winston Break FSU’s ‘No Tweeting’ Rule Because He Really Wants To Get Wasted? sexandsecretss.blogspot.com

sexandsecretss.blogspot.com ® Did Jameis Winston Break FSU’s ‘No Tweeting’ Rule Because He Really Wants To Get Wasted?

Florida State head football coach Jimbo Fisher hates Twitter. Okay, so maybe he doesn’t actually hate it, but beginning two seasons ago , Fisher has banned his players from tweeting during the college football season. The last day the Seminoles were allowed to tweet before this season was August 5th.

Today, the deafening Twitter silence was broken by, who else, but Famous Jameis Winston. Nobody is really sure why at this point, but Winston’s account retweeted a post that reads “I wanna get whiskey wasted!”

Kami Mattioli of Sporting News spotted it right away:

The retweet had to be an accident, or he was hacked, right?

It really makes no sense why Winston would share the tweet out of the blue, and considering that Winston is both underage (he’s 19) and he already has enough things going on his life right now, breaking FSU’s Twitter policy is probably the last thing he needs at the moment. I’m sure we’ll learn more about this “incident” shortly.
