Michigan State fans wondered all summer who their starting quarterback would be for the 2013 season. Now, after the season opener against Western Michigan this past Saturday, they are still waiting.
The Spartans played two signal-callers against the Broncos — Andrew Maxwell got the start, but was replaced by Connor Cook after some disappointing play. Unfortunately, Cook may have been even worse.
So now the quarterback competition is raging as hard as ever, and of course, Mark Dantonio is being harassed about the position by the media. Today, Dantonio stated that he would absolutely not be answering quarterback questions of any kind, but that didn’t stop the media from asking — over, and over, and over again:

Honestly, I think Dantonio handled this all really well, even revealing a few wry smiles. Props to him for not losing his cool.
