Vanderbilt and Ole Miss kicked off the SEC football season this past Thursday night and gave fans one of the most exciting games of the opening weekend. The final three minutes featured three incredible plays, culminating with a 75-yard touchdown run by Rebels running back Jeff Scott. The Commodores, as you can imagine, took the loss hard.
Today, Vanderbilt released a video of coach James Franklin’s locker room speech to the team after the game. His message? “We’re going to get better because of this.” Check it out:
It’s not shocking to see Franklin, who is as animated as they come, supporting his players after the loss. Vandy will have a chance to right the ship this Saturday against Austin Peay.
