If you’ve been paying attention at all this offseason, it’s clear that USC has already found the biggest obstacle it must overcome in 2013 if the team is going to succeed: the injury bug. Of course, wide receiver Marqise Lee is the biggest concern — earlier this camp, he injured his shoulder making a catch, but it was announced that was okay and just suffering from severe bruising .
Unfortunately, Lee re-injured that same shoulder in USC’s scrimmage this afternoon, per USCFootball.com’s Ryan Abraham:
Now Trojans fans have to hope that everything really is okay with that shoulder, or that this won’t become a recurring problem this fall. The only small bright side here is that other receivers have been stepping up as of late.
