Some schools try to look futuristic on the football field. Others just seem to want to relive the past. Central Michigan appears to be going with the latter notion, debuting some interesting throwback uniforms for this Saturday’s affair with Toledo. Check them out, via CMU’s Josh Reasoner:
Personally, I really like simplicity of the helmets, though I’m not a huge fan of the tiny numbers on each jersey. We’ll see how the Chippewas perform on the field in their new digs.
