The Oklahoma Sooners are looking to rebound from an embarrassing loss to Baylor last Thursday, and they are hosting Iowa State in a game that former coach Barry Switzer already views as a done deal . Switzer clearly isn’t impressed with the Cyclones 1-8 record to start the season.
Maybe it’s their penchant for turnovers that he doesn’t respect either. Today, ISU quarterback Grant Rohach has already thrown a pick, although it took a pretty lucky bounce for Oklahoma to make it happen. Sooners defensive back Stanvon Taylor managed to get a hand on an underthrown ball by Rohach, enough to tip it to teammate Quentin Hayes for the interception. Here’s video, via @PlannedSickDays :
Despite forcing the early turnover, the Sooners trail 7-0 in the second quarter.
