Vine: South Carolina’s Punter Pulled Off An Awesome ‘Trick Shot’ Field Goal
College punters don’t usually get too much airtime during football season – unless of course their team is struggling mightily on offense. But South Carolina punter Patrick Fish decided he’d gain some notoriety a different way – by producing a viral Vine clip of a trick shot field goal. Fish was able to take a football lying on the ground, use both legs to spin it upright, and then kick it perfectly through the goal posts from 25 yards out. Check it out:
We have no idea how many tries this took, but regardless, it’s very impressive. We don’t, however, recommend that he try this in a game – Steve Spurrier probably wouldn’t be amused.
