Oregon Wideout Josh Huff Claims Texas Assistant Major Applewhite Told Him He Wasn’t “Good Enough”

Well, we know which game Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff is watching this Saturday afternoon. Huff, who is in all probability currently tuned into the Baylor vs. Texas defacto Big 12 championship game, let out a little steam on Twitter about the Longhorns not offering him back in 2010. Huff claims that Major Applewhite, UT’s Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach, told him he “wasn’t good enough” back in high school. Ouch.


Huff has since gone on to become one of the best wide receivers in all of college football and leads the Ducks in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. There’s nothing like prove-you-wrong motivation.
