We knew we couldn’t get through all of today’s conference championship football games without at least one ejection for targeting. Late in the ACC Championship Game between Florida State and Duke, Jameis Winston threw a strike to tight end Nick O’Leary in the end zone. O’Leary would have caught the pass for a touchdown, but Duke safety Dwayne Norman came streaking in and separated him from the ball, breaking up the pass.

After reviewing the play, the refs upheld Norman’s ejection, meaning Norman will miss the first half of the Blue Devils’ bowl game. What do you think of the call?
