Just over a week ago, Jim Grobe resigned as the head coach of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons after leading the program for 13 seasons. Grobe is a very well-respected coach, one of the best in the ACC, but ultimately he and the school decided to part ways. In came Dave Clawson, formerly of Bowling Green, and the team is already starting to get hyped for the 2014 season (the Deacs didn’t qualify for a bowl this year). Today, the school released a video promoting the start of the Clawson Era:
We’ll see if Wake Forest can turn things around next year — Clawson is certainly a very capable coach.
