Photo: South Carolina’s Connor Shaw Signed Clemson Helmet “This Is Our State”
Athletes are often asked to sign a number of items during an autograph session – t-shirts, hats, balls, photos, etc. But what do you do when a fan asks you to sign a helmet of your team’s biggest rival? We’re not 100% sure who asked South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw to sign the Clemson helmet you see below, but we are sure that he made it clear that the Gamecocks have won the past five matchups between the schools.
Yep, it reads “This Is Our State! 5″ above his signature. Head coach Steve Spurrier would be proud.
