Solomon Thomas Announced His Stanford Decision With A Tree, Nerd Glasses
It’s college football’s National Signing Day, so you know we’re bound to see some high school kids with some creative ideas on how they want to announce their commitments. The best we’ve seen so far? Stanford commit Solomon Thomas, a five-star defensive end from Coppell, Texas, brought a tree to his announcement. For those unaware, the Cardinal’s unofficial mascot is a tree.
He’s also wearing nerd glasses, paying homage to what Stanford’s players wore at the podium after their big upset win over Oregon earlier this year. “Nerd Nation” appears to have another guy who’s all-in.
