Urban Meyer “Acted Like A 12-Year Old” When Jamarco Jones Affirmed His OSU Commitment
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer considers four-star offensive lineman Jamarco Jones one of the Buckeyes’ most important 2014 recruits, so naturally he was concerned when Jones made a last-minute visit to Big 10 rival Michigan State over the weekend. The visit did not change Jones’ mind, however, and he reaffirmed his commitment to Ohio State to a very excited Urban Meyer last night.
This morning may have had Ohio State fans a bit worried, as they waited for the fateful fax to come in. The widespread snow this morning has thrown a wrench in many plans, but Jones made sure he was able to make it to school to send his Letter of Intent, in appropriate lineman fashion:
Ohio State currently has the fifth ranked class nationally, and sits atop the Big 10 in 2014 recruiting rankings, so today has turned out well for the Buckeyes.
