Earlier: Former South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney isn’t mincing words regarding who he thinks is the best player in the 2014 NFL draft class. Clowney called into The Dan Patrick Show Thursday morning to chat about where he believes he should be taken this upcoming May. He also gave some clues as to what numbers he’s going to put up at the combine. Hint – they’re impressive.
Even if Clowney is the best player in the class, NFL teams all have different needs. The Houston Texans currently hold the No. 1 pick, and most believe that they’re in the market for a quarterback. We’ll find out soon enough how it will all shake out.
