Video: Wisconsin’s Traevon Jackson Nails Game-Winner vs. MSU With 2 Seconds To Play
Wisconsin had just blown a seven point lead in the game’s final few minutes. Junior guard Traevon Jackson made Badgers fan forget all about it. After Spartans senior center Adreian Payne hit a game-tying 3-pointer with just under nine seconds to play, Jackson took the ball the length of the floor and hit a jumper that gave the Badgers the victory. MSU’s Travis Trice had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but his half-court shot rimmed out.
The loss drops Michigan State to 9-2 in the Big Ten – now tied with Michigan in first place. Wisconsin improved to 6-5.
