Midway through the 2nd quarter of Alabama-Texas A&M, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was penalized and ejected for targeting on defense — you can view a GIF of the play here . Quite honestly, it was an awful call. The booth reviewed the play and overturned the initial ruling, allowing Clinton-Dix to re-enter the game. However, the 15-yard penalty stuck, and fans everywhere absolutely erupted against the rule’s existence in the first place:
