Johnny Manziel is currently putting on an absolute clinic against Alabama’s vaunted defense. Midway through the 2nd quarter, Manziel is 13/16 for 200 passing yards, in addition to another 56 yards on the ground in a 14-14 game.
But among his many successful plays, one stands out as the most spectacular — Johnny evaded an Alabama defender who appeared to have him completely wrapped up in the backfield, and managed to fire a deep completion down the middle. Oh, and five guys were in his face, too.
Sure, it was a terrible decision to throw the ball up there and it was a complete jump ball, but it goes down as a completion — and it was awesome.
