Video: Georgia Releases Touching ‘Make-A-Wish’ Video
The Georgia Bulldogs took the field for practice on Thursday ahead of their looming showdown with Nebraska in the Gator Bowl, but this time, they had an extra player on the roster – Joseph Liguori.
Liguori, who has always dreamed of playing tight end for the Bulldogs, was on-hand as part of the Make-A-Wish program for children with life-threatening illnesses. The young man got to wear the team’s gear, participate in drills and even get some live action. Check it out:
The celebration at the end of the video, after Liguori scores, is particularly touching. Props to Mark Richt and his crew.
