Earlier today during SEC Media Week, Missouri quarterback James Franklin angered his own fans my mentioning that they were the rudest fans he faced last year. While he followed up and said that they were just responsible for the single meanest comment, he still felt the need to clear the air a little more.
Tonight, he took to Twitter and posted a photo of a note explaining the situation — check it out:
This thing should blow over pretty quickly — the kid has seemed pretty honest, which is always refreshing. I imagine most Mizzou fans aren’t too upset about the comment, considering they are known for being harsh on opposing teams anyway.
