College football coaches like to be ready for everything — nobody wants to show up to a game unprepared. I’m not sure if we’ve ever seen a better example of this than what went on at Tennessee today, when Butch Jones’ scout team was “Gator chomping” his starters:

I’m not sure if the scout team just got really enthusiastic and was having a good time, or if Jones was trying to teach his players to remain calm after they get taunted. Or perhaps after the beating the the Vols took at the hands of the Ducks, Butch is just preparing his team for the inevitable chomping that could ensue on Saturday.

Either way, I guess better preparation can only lead to better results — or at least it can’t hurt.
