Les Miles was not happy after his then-No. 6 LSU team was upset by Ole Miss in Oxford. After the game, Miles said he did a “piss poor job” preparing his players for what they were going to face.
It’s Monday afternoon, and Les is still very bitter about the loss. Today, when meeting with the press, he took a parting shot at Ole Miss:
Les Miles on Ole Miss loss: “It’s hard to admit as coach of a team that’s best & better that they finished 2nd & I’m doing that today”

Despite losing to the Rebels, Miles thinks his team is “best and better” than Ole Miss. The thing is, he may be right, but the reality is that the best team doesn’t always win. Better luck next time, Coach.
