Today’s game between Auburn and Georgia was one of those rare matchups where both teams deserved to win. Auburn played great for three quarters, building a 37-17 lead on Georgia, but then Aaron Murray played like the record-breaking quarterback that he is in the fourth. He rallied the Bulldogs all the way back, and his rushing TD with less than two minutes to play put them up 38-37.
Of course, then the absolutely ridiculous 73-yard tip drill touchdown pass from Nick Marshall to Ricardo Louis happened, and Auburn went on to win. The Tigers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and broke the hearts of the Georgia coaching staff in the process. Check out the sideline reaction from several UGA coaches after the Marshall pass:
This is going to be a hard one for Georgia to put in the rearview mirror.
