When you think of Nike taking care of a college program with sick gear, the first school that comes to mind is the University of Oregon. Certainly Nike chairman Phil Knight hooks up the Ducks on a regular basis, but don’t sleep on how much Michael Jordan gives back to his beloved North Carolina. We’ve seen some pretty sick kicks that the Tar Heels will wear at some point this season, and the Jordan Brand has a giveaway for the fans too.
This Saturday is the Tar Heels’ monster matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats, and UNC has just announced a ‘white out’ in the Dean Dome. The school will be giving away a pretty cool t-shirt to all of the fans:
The game will air at 5:15 EST on Saturday on ESPN, and we imagine there will be quite a raucous crown on hand. The Heels have already knocked off Louisville and Michigan State this season…could Kentucky be next?
