Two weeks ago, when James Franklin was still in the process being poached away from Vanderbilt, PGA golfer Brandt Snedeker took to Twitter to share a special offer for Franklin if he remained in Nashville (Snedeker is a Nashville native): free golf lessons for life from the pro himself.
Of course, that offer didn’t win Franklin over as he left Vandy for Penn State, but Snedeker isn’t wavering in his support for the Commodores — new head coach Derek Mason will now get all of the free golf lessons that he wants:
Vanderbilt is glad to claim Snedeker as a superfan — it looks like the Commodores will be able to move right on without their former coach:
If Brandt shoots a 60, he might be getting a call shortly after from Mason for a few immediate tips.
