Jameis Winston Takes To Twitter To Defend The Way He Speaks
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has issued a message to those who are criticizing the way he speaks. He just wants to reiterate that his Florida State Seminoles are BCS national champions. Translation? He doesn’t care.
Winston’s post-game speech got a great deal of play last night, as many, including Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron’s mother, Dee Dee Bonner, weren’t impressed with the way he speaks English. Bonner later apologized for her now-deleted tweet, but the damage had already been done. At this point, I think all parties involved are just looking to move on.
