After last night, Jameis Winston finds himself in elite company of players — ones who have won both a Heisman Trophy and a national championship. He had to shake off a rough first half to rally his team from an 18-point deficit, but there was never a doubt in his head coach’s mind that he would do it. In fact, Jimbo Fisher told Winston before the fourth quarter that the “great ones like Michael Jordan can put three bad quarters behind them and shine” — Winston did exactly that :

Of course, that means that Jimbo thinks Winston had an MJ moment last night — you can’t praise an athlete much more than that. But if Winston for any reason needed further approval, LeBron James was in awe of his performance and postgame speech last night. Enjoy the praise, Jameis — you’ve earned it.
