Report: Syracuse Center Dajuan Coleman Done For Year, Needs Surgery
The 2013-2014 basketball season had been full of positive news for the No. 2 ranked Syracuse Orange – until Monday. The Post-Standard is reporting that SU center Dajuan Coleman will miss the remainder of the season with a left leg injury. It’s also being reported that he’ll need surgery.
Coleman last saw action (playing three minutes) against Virginia Tech on January 7th, but he was starting at center for the Orange for the majority of the team’s non-conference schedule. He was averaging 4.3 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game.
While Coleman is not considered one of SU’s key players, the injury will affect the team’s depth moving forward.
