The day before this past Halloween, the New Orleans Pelicans introduced their new mascot, Pierre, and he may have been the most terrifying mascot ever seen:
Pretty much the whole world asked itself “Who could possibly have signed off on that thing?” and the jokes came piling in about Pierre haunting dreams and occupying nightmares. After a few months of seeing Pierre in action, it appears that the Pelicans are going to be redesigning the mascot’s look, possibly before the season’s end:
It will be interesting to see what New Orleans comes up with, but on the bright side, things can’t get much worse than they are now.
