The Minnesota Golden Gophers didn’t schedule themselves a cupcake to open the college football season, taking on the UNLV Rebels. But on one particular play in the second quarter, you wouldn’t know otherwise, as Minnesota QB Philip Nelson took a beautifully designed quarterback keeper 48 yards for a touchdown. For most of the play, there wasn’t anybody even close to the signal-caller.
