Photo: MSU President Sends Letter To Students Warning Against Crazy Celebrations, Burning Property
When the Michigan State Spartans knocked off previously unbeaten Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game two weeks ago, celebration naturally ensued in East Lansing. Unfortunately, things got way out of hand and 15 people were arrested following massive bonfires that damaged property and other disorderly activity.
Michigan State president Lou Anna K. Simon doesn’t want any similar problems to come after the Rose Bowl Game in January, so she recently sent out a letter to all students reminding them that while celebrating is great, it needs to be done with class:

Staying classy seems pretty obvious for most people, but a few bad apples can ruin things for everyone. Hopefully the letter reaches a few people that might have had some crazy ideas in mind.
