Auburn fans really love Michigan State right now.

The regular season of college football is finally over, and the BCS somehow avoided another nightmare scenario when it comes to selecting the participants in this year’s national title game: it appears that Florida State and Auburn have separated themselves from the rest of the country. We were treated to a very good set of conference championship games yesterday, and the star of the show was undoubted Michigan State, who handed Ohio State its first loss in 25 games.

Of course, there was going to be some shakeup at the top of this week’s polls, given the matchups played. Here is the newest edition of the USA Today Coaches’ Poll :
