Video: Urban Meyer, Ohio State Players Visit Children’s Hospital To Deliver Holiday Gifts
It has undoubtedly been a tough few weeks for Ohio State coach Urban Meyer after his Buckeyes came up just short of having the opportunity to play for the BCS national championship. But as evidenced by the video below, Meyer and his players are not having any trouble keeping things in perspective. They visited the Nationwide Children’s Hospital earlier this week to deliver holiday presents to young patients. Very cool.
We saw the VCU basketball team do something similar last week – the players sang Katy Perry’s “Roar” with patients at another children’s hospital. Both instances show great holiday spirit.
OSU will take on Clemson on January 3rd in the Discover Orange Bowl. Perhaps they’ve earned some good karma ahead of the matchup.
