Oregon never ceases to push the limits of college sports fashion. Normally its shiny new shoes or ridiculous winged helmets for the football team, but this week it’s the cheerleaders who are getting some new, rather interesting gear: custom contacts with the school’s ‘O’ logo:

I’m not really sure the point of wearing these, because I don’t think there are too many close-ups shown of the cheerleaders’ eyes, but I guess that Oregon found them to be a justifiable expense. Ducks fans — do you like the new look?
