Report: Texas Trainer Kenny Boyd Rules QB David Ash Out For TCU Game
It looks like the Texas Longhorns are going to have to go another week without starting quarterback David Ash. The signal-caller has battled head and shoulder injuries all season, and didn’t play in the Longhorns’ past two games against Iowa State and Oklahoma.
Texas was on a bye this past week, and the team was hoping to get Ash back for a matchup with TCU next Saturday. Unfortunately, that has been ruled out by the team’s football trainer, Kenny Boyd:
In three games this season, Ash has thrown for 760 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. Texas will continue to go with Case McCoy while Ash recovers.
