While most Florida State players are still off celebrating their BCS National Championship Game victory over the Auburn Tigers, several Seminoles have been mulling over big decisions: should they stay with the program and try to repeat as national champions or head to the NFL? Earlier this week, FSU’s James Wilder declared for the draft, and today another big name has announced that he will be going pro: star defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan:

“I feel I am the most versatile defensive lineman in the draft,” Timmy Jernigan said.

“Some team will get an athletic, hard-working lineman who attacks, plays smart and doesn’t come off the field,” Timmy Jernigan said.

Jernigan was extremely proud of his team’s title game performance, and was glad that the Seminoles proved that the SEC players “are not gods.” Jernigan is a sure-fire first round selection in May’s draft.
