Iowa State unveiled a new-look locker room for the football program earlier this offseason. Now, the team is getting new Nike jerseys too — at least for the Iowa game.
This morning, Iowa State released photos of throwback uniforms from the Jack Trice Era — Trice was the first African-American player ever for the Cyclones. The jerseys below will be worn on September 14:
These are obviously way different from the rest of the new uniforms released for 2013 — I like the fresh (although apparently very dated) look.
