Move over, Packers and Texans — college football is taking over your homes. According to Jim Kleinpeter of nola.com , the Wisconsin Badgers and LSU Tigers are currently finalizing a two-game series with one game to be played at Reliant Stadium in 2014, and then the other at Lambeau Field 2016.
According to LSU’s associate athletic director Verge Ausberry:
“We still have some small details to wrk out but the contracts should be done next week. It took awhile but that’s how these neutral site games are. They’re in NFL stadiums and we have to go through the conference office and talk about TV rights.”
The two games will be season openers for the two schools, and a ton of fun for college football fans — we’re pumped.
