We’ve all been waiting for football camps to get started, and we’ve had our wishes granted — football season is back, sort of. Of course, with the start of practices comes the always-looming danger of injury — it’s sad when the first casualties occur.
Today, Ole Miss got some bad news — wide receiver Vince Sanders broke his collarbone and will be out for 6-8 weeks, per Chuck Rounsaville of Ole Miss Spirit:
This is a tough break for Ole Miss — in 2012, Sanders had 39 receptions for 504 yards and four touchdowns. Somebody will need to step up from among the young receiving corps if the team is going to stay afloat early.
