LSU Coach Les Miles Is Now Subtweeting Recruits Too
It’s the college football recruiting dead period, which means that coaches and programs have to get a lot more creative to be able to effectively communicate with their top prospects. Last night, we saw Notre Dame recruiting analyst J.R. Sandlin subtweet Matt Elam, a 4-star offensive/defensive tackle prospect out of Kentucky. Now we’ve got LSU head coach Les Miles getting in on the action – check this out.
“Buga Nation”, as The Big Lead points out, is a reference to the nation’s top running back, Leonard Fournette. Fournette retweeted Miles as well.
To be clear, in both of these instances, the associated NCAA rule was not broken. As for whether they’re staying within the spirit of the rule, well, that’s open for debate.
