Matt Lombardi

The final season of the BCS, in the end, actually wound up being one of the least controversial in recent memory. Michigan State’s defeat of Ohio State in the Big Ten title game ended the argument about the SEC needing representation in the BCS National Championship Game, as the Auburn Tigers jumped up to the No. 2 slot. But whoever runs the Orange Bowl Twitter account seems to think that fans are going to go crazy tonight when the BCS bowl games are officially announced. Perhaps he/she has some bad memories of past BCS controversies.

I’m not sure if calling your clientele “raging lunatics” is a good business move, but it’s amusing nonetheless. The Orange Bowl is expected to choose Clemson and Ohio State for this year’s matchup.
