There’s nothing better in the summer than a nice day at the ballpark. Yesterday, John Calipari checked in to watch the Pirates. Earlier this offseason, Jerry Kill took in the Twins, and Bo Pelini was a staple at the College World Series in Omaha. Basically, college football and basketball coaches love baseball too.
Yesterday, Duke’s David Cutcliffe attended the Rockies-Braves game and had a chance to get on the field. He took pictured with baseball legend Todd Helton, as well as Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez — check it out:
Being a college coach earns a guy some pretty cool perks. Hopefully Cutcliffe enjoyed his night, because it’s back to the grind of college football season very soon.
