The weight room is an important place for college football players. Much of how an athlete performs on the field stems from their dedication to logging long, hard hours getting bigger and stronger at the team’s facility.
Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy certainly knows how much it matters – he’s giving out “Iron Cowboys” awards to top weight room performers.
Sure, maybe they’re a little cheesy. But hey, if players will wear them around with pride, who cares. You have to at least love Gundy’s attempt to reward athletes who are working hard.
