Two weeks ago, tragedy struck the Cincinnati football team when young offensive lineman Ben Flick passed away after a car accident. Lots of support has come in for the team — Western Michigan wore the Cincinnati logo on their h helmets last week, and one of Ben’s former high school teammates wrote a fantastic tribute song for him that went viral.
Today, the team will honor Flick in a special way by wearing the number ’77′ on all of its jerseys:
The players will also wear ’77′ decals on their helmets for the rest of the season.
