ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas has never been shy to tell the world what he thinks about the NCAA. He routinely blasts the organization on Twitter – here’s an example from this morning, even.
One of the hot topics the past few years among college football players, coaches and fans is whether the student-athletes themselves should be getting paid, considering the school, the NCAA and the companies that create licensed products are making money off of their “likeness”.
Bilas tweeted out a photo of #15 jerseys for sale at Mizzou – which he believes are clearly meant to represent sophomore wide receiver stud Dorial Green-Beckham.
Sure, Missouri isn’t the only school doing this – many are. But it is pretty obvious (and always has been) what’s going on here.
Is Bilas right to keep putting the NCAA on blast?
