Yesterday, we heard that Jadeveon Clowney has been in contact with Jay-Z , and is likely to sign with Roc Nation Sports following his college career. Many fans were wondering if this contact could get Clowney into trouble — today we have an answer via South Carolina assistant athletic director Steve Fink.

Fink sent this letter to ESPN’s Travis Haney:

Good news for Gamecocks fans — they’ll need Clowney on the field this fall.
