Well, this has been quite a crazy ten days for Ohio State’s Carlos Hyde. Recently, news broke that he was dismissed from the OSU team after punching a girl in the face at a local bar. It turned out that Hyde was only suspended indefinitely pending further investigation and debate raged over whether he actually hit the girl or not .
Today, according to Central Ohio’s 10TV, police reported that Hyde will not face any charges in connection with the incident:
This is good news for Hyde and the Buckeyes, although it remains to be seen if Urban Meyer will still punish Hyde for putting himself in a poor situation.
