Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel could miss up to two weeks of football after he underwent emergency surgery to remove his appendix on Tuesday morning, according to gatorzone.com. Per coach Will Muschamp:
“Jeff had acute appendicitis and fortunately the medical staff caught it very quickly. His surgery went well and how long he is out will be determined by how his body responds, which could be two weeks.”
Driskel is Florida’s starting quarterback. The Gators’ season begins on August 31st against Toledo.
