Missouri DE Kony Ealy On South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney: “He’s Not God”
The Missouri Tigers are unquestionably the surprise team in the SEC this season. Mizzou is off to a scorching 7-0 start, and is ranked fifth in the initial BCS standings that were released on Sunday. This week the Tigers get to prove themselves against one of more hyped teams in the conference, the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Missouri defensive end Kony Ealy is ready for the game, and he’s tired of hearing about how good South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney is. This afternoon, he had a pretty blunt quote about the Gamecocks’ star:
Ealy is probably feeling that he is a bit under-recognized in comparison to Clowney, but he should take pride that his team is having a much better season. Either way, we’ll get to see both defensive ends in action this Saturday in what should be a great game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 EST on ESPN2.
