Last weekend’s matchup between Stanford and Washington State was supposed to be an exciting one. Unfortunately for the Cougars, it didn’t end up that way, as they were blown out 55-17.

However, the broadcast of the game turned fun late in the game when one Wazzu fan was shown on TV in all of his misery — America affectionately dubbed him ‘Popcorn Guy’ — it’s easy to see why:

Yesterday, a reporter showed Mike Leach a video of the scene and asked what his thoughts were. In short? “Oh that guy is awesome.” He then went on to compare him to his wife.
