While Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim may not be regretting his actions that resulted in a double-technical foul, an ejection, and four free throws for Duke in a two-point game, his star senior forward, C.J. In all likelihood, Duke would have had two free throws coming with a 60-58 lead on the Orange, had Boeheim not blown up. If the Blue Devils had missed one, as they had on their previous trip to the stripe, SU would have had a chance to tie the game with a 3-pointer. There is no denying that Boeheim’s tirade removed any chance of that happening. It’ll be interesting to see if there is a rift between Boeheim and his players moving forward.
